 Silk Noil is a rough, natural silk from China that is very popular for embroidery, furnishings and clothing as it is very easy to handle and does not crease easily. Silk Noil is made from the short fibres from the cocoon rather than a continuous length of silk so it has a rough texture.

Washing Instructions – We recommend, especially if you are re-selling, to pre-wash in hot water before dyeing or painting to remove any leftover residue from the silk worms (Seracin) or finger prints and other stuff that can cause the fabric to dye unevenly. If painted/dyed follow instructions of paint/dyestuffs used for future washing.

Sold by the quarter metre.

Single quantities will be cut as fat quarters.
